    S.I.P. Petroșani Legacy Software Recovery

    Gas monitoring software for coal mines in Valea Jiului, running on Windows XP, source code lost, database writes silently blocked since 2005. We reverse-engineered the executable, found the hardcoded date, and deployed a fix to four active mines.

The Fix That Kept Four Mines Running

Gas monitoring software from 2004. Source code: gone. Database writes: silently failing for years. Four coal mines in the Jiu Valley, legally required to keep the software running. Everyone said "impossible." We found the hardcoded date blocking the writes and patched it.
